Our client is seeking a Hyperion Developer to join their team.

Job Title: Hyperion Developer

Location: Hybrid in Upstate NY

What’s the Job?

 Responsibilities:
Experience in Multi Multi-Dimensional Data Warehouse development using Client-
Server technology and relational databases.
Hands-on experience with Hyperion Budgeting and Planning development and
administration, involving full SDLC for applications using Hyperion Essbase/Planning.
System 9BI+ EPM platform including Essbase Analytics 9, Essbase Planning 9, HAL,
Financial Reporting, Interactive Reporting, and Web Analysis.
Proficient with development of complex financial reports involving Hyperion
Reports, Analyzer and development of ad-hoc reports using the Essbase Excel Add-
In and SmartView.
Experience with Forecast and Budget Hyperion Cube objects development including
Outlines, Rule Files, Calc Scripts, Automation Scripts using MaxL and ESSCMDS.
Planning Application objects development including Business Rules and Web Forms.
Optimization techniques as well as maintenance and administration of Essbase
Cubes and Planning Applications.
Writing PL/SQL queries and stored procedures.
Extensive experience on development and maintaining Hyperion Planning and essbase applications. 
At least 1-2 planning implementation.
Hands on experience on essbase including BSO, ASO, MaxL, MDX, Load rules, Cal Scripts and Partitioning.
Hands on experience of Hyperion Planning Business rules, data form. 
Optimizing database size, calc script performance.
Experience on metadata maintenance using EPMA and essbase studio.
Knowledge of Epma batch client, LCM import/export.
Should be able to trouble shoot production issues and user issues related to smartView and data validation.
ODI experience is a plus
Should have very good communication skills.
Experience working in On/Off model is a must
